On February 25, 2024, the second product of BYD’s million level luxury brand, the “Million level Pure Electric Performance Super Run”, the “Million level Pure Electric Performance Super Run”, was officially launched.

Looking up at the exterior of the U9, it retains the design elements of supercars and adds an overall sense of future electric supercars. Looking up at U9, with its golden ratio aesthetic, it has reconstructed the elegant body shape of electric sports cars and overturned the proportion form of traditional fuel powered sports cars. Thanks to the futuristic design elements of the “Gate of Time and Space”, the U9 boasts a visually impactful and sharp design, with agile and explosive lines that perfectly embody the speed and heat of technological energy, expressing a brave and innovative spirit of exploration and progress.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a wrap around cockpit design, with a large vertical screen in the middle and rich in car apps built-in. Below the screen, there are knobs with screens and physical buttons for convenient operation of vehicle settings. The three spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather material and features a full LCD instrument panel in front. There are also three color schemes for the interior.

Looking up at the U9, it adopts bucket shaped seats, which still display a sense of luxury through the combination of leather and suede, while retaining electric adjustment, heating, and ventilation functions. In addition, the car is equipped with 127 color ambient lights, 12 speaker Dana sound system, and wireless phone charging to meet daily driving needs.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a four motor system. The maximum power of all four motors is 240kW, with a combined power of 960kW, which is 1306 horsepower. The peak torque is 1680N · m, and the peak speed is 21000rpm. The 0-100km/h acceleration is 2.36 seconds, and the 0-400m acceleration is 9.78 seconds. The top speed is 309km/h. In the previous stage of the race, the test result was 2:17.65, and the maximum charging power of the dual gun supercharger is 500kW.

The Yunnian-X intelligent fully active body control system is based on the fusion control of horizontal, vertical, and vertical directions, equipped with air springs and dual valve shock absorbers to help the U9 achieve three wheel driving and four wheel takeoff movements.
