The BYD Seagull is a brand new micro electric vehicle from BYD, positioned lower than the Dolphin.
The Seagull continues some of the ocean aesthetic design concepts, with an overall design that leans towards a sporty style and is positioned as a pure electric microcar. This car is highly similar to the Dolphin in both exterior and interior design.
The Seagull is a brand new model of BYD’s new generation technology for the wide market, with two driving ranges of 305km and 405km (CLTC comprehensive working condition).
The sincere 12 standard features including 4 airbags, ESP, and fast charging have enabled Seagull to surpass users’ expectations of a single vehicle value with its high-energy properties, not only strengthening the product matrix of Ocean Net, but also becoming a new force for BYD to challenge the new market space.
Thanks to the technological empowerment of e-platform 3.0, Haiou also has a safety body structure exclusive to pure electric vehicles, with a high-strength steel proportion of up to 61% in its body. In key areas, it uses hot-formed steel with a tensile strength exceeding 1500 MPa, providing the most direct safety protection for passengers inside the vehicle.
