The BYD Yuan UP is a brand new model under the BYD brand, with a length, width, and height of 4310mm, 1830mm, and 1675mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2620mm. It is positioned as a small SUV. On March 26, 2024, BYD Yuan UP was launched, with a total of three models available, including panoramic sunroof, front grille trim, wheels, and other configurations. In addition, the new car is equipped with a permanent magnet synchronous drive motor with a maximum power of 130 kW.

The BYD Yuan UP is equipped with a closed front grille, and the iconic “Yuan” logo is located in the upper middle of the grille, giving it a more rounded overall appearance. From the side view, this new car adopts a semi hidden door handle design, and the charging port is located on the right side of the front of the car. In addition, the rear of the car also adopts the popular through type tail light design.

In terms of interior, the new car adopts a black and beige dual color scheme, paired with a panoramic sunroof to make the interior space more spacious and bright. Specifically, its interior still features a strong BYD family style design, with a combination of a 12.8-inch central control screen and a 8.8-inch LCD instrument panel greatly enhancing the vehicle’s sense of technology. In addition, the new car retains a certain number of physical buttons near the multifunctional steering wheel and gear lever, which is very friendly to friends who are not used to touch screen control.

The front driver’s seat of the new car supports electric adjustment, and at the same time, the rear seat has good space performance. The rear floor is very flat, and sitting in the middle position will not affect comfort. In addition, the rear of the new car will provide a USB interface and a small storage compartment. The trunk space of BYD Yuan UP is also outstanding, demonstrating a certain practical attribute. The rear seats can be folded down in a 4/6 ratio.

In terms of power, the car is divided into two power outputs, with a maximum power of 70kW/130kW and a maximum torque of 180 Nm and 290 Nm. In terms of endurance, its CLTC comprehensive working condition endurance is 301km and 401km respectively. The new car adopts front MacPherson independent suspension and rear torsion beam non independent suspension, with a minimum turning radius of only 5.25 meters.
